The Feds: "Don't Call Us, We're Too Busy.... But don't do anything yourselves either"

The riots have begun. The ACLU law scum have begun their attacks. And all this because the good people of Arizona demanded of their legislators the protection they are sworn to provide.
Fox News’ Geraldo is on the case, nostrils flaring, his silk pantalones on fire, chomping at the bit to get a little more face time defending his most beloved Latino brotherhood from the abuses of a tyrannical regime of white racists. He proclaimed that he is afraid that he will be arrested if he were to walk down the street because he looks Hispanic. If stupid and over dramatization were a crime, he would surely get arrested.

And of course, Al (not so) Sharpton is burning rubber all the way to Phoenix to get his little piece o dat action.  Earth to Al: wrong color, man. This ain't your gig, even if Geraldo has you on his show every night to throw the race card out there and inflame the ignorant La Raza crowd. He's as dumb as you are. Stay in the Bronx and pimp your racism where you might actually find some takers, like, down at the New York Times.

"Opponents cite a 2005 ruling by a New Hampshire judge who dismissed trespassing charges against illegal immigrants,..."

So, there ya have it. Our fate as a sovereign nation and the State’s right to protect our borders from an invading horde is once again in the hands of the black robed all-knowing constitutional scholars who can find meaning in the most obscure minutia of legal precedent that can contort even the most simple concept into a bizarre, complex and mind numbing opinion. Consequently, there is just no telling how this will come out. One thing is for sure, it won’t make much sense to the average person, will have little resemblance to anything in the Constitution and if past performance is any indication, it won’t be good for the vast majority of the American people.

Why you ask? The "supremacy clause" and "doctrine of pre-emption" says so! Yeah, there’s that New Hampshire case, you know, and eh, the commerce clause and Santa clause too. So just sit back and wait for the Feds to do something about that drug war on your borders. It’s not your problem. Regulating immigration is the sole jurisdiction of the US federal government, by God! Not that it really says so in the Constitution, in so many words, but a couple hundred years of black robe deciphering of the founding father’s secret code has found plenty of reason to believe it does. So, it does.

It does until the People rise up and amend the Constitution to say exactly what it should have said the first time - that the States are not subservient hand puppets of the Federal government and have the right and duty to protect themselves. But, doesn’t it already kinda say that?

OH, tut tut.... Pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain! The black robes will decide for you what it says and doesn’t say. And right now, they say you have no rights concerning those pesky, insignificant border jumpers, no matter what they do. You let the Feds handle everything. They’ll take care of the problem when they get damn good and ready. Until then, enjoy your free health care and unlimited unemployment benefits. Oh, and by the way, there will be 60 days of games in the Coliseum by decree of Cesar to celebrate the new VAT tax! Hail Cesar!

Is it just dejavu I'm feeling or was Rome overrun by barbarian hordes about this time in their history too?
