Are You Taxed Enough Yet?

President Obama doesn't think so. In fact, he thinks we should be down on our knees thanking him for giving us all a little tax cut this year. Somehow I don't feel like my taxes went down this year. Being on a pension, I didn't qualify for the "making work pay" deduction, because the IRS doesn't consider pensions to be earned income. If I sell an old lawn mower in my garage sale, THAT'S considered earned income, but not my company pension that I worked all my life to get!

Somehow I slipped through the cracks and didn't qualify for any of the other tax breaks for which I'm supposed to be so grateful. Plus, the “historic” President didn’t consider that we Tea Baggin’ Americans are not just talking about the federal income taxes, we’re talking about ALL the taxation that we’re living under. The total tax burden on the 53% of Americans who actually pay Federal income taxes is crushing us, wrecking the economy and jeopardizing our national sovereignty.

When you add it all up, all the taxes we pay, from sales tax to car tabs, it’s easier to understand why most Americans can’t figure out where they spent all their income last year. Where did it all go??? Well, let’s take a looky…..

1. Federal Income Tax, (including self-employment tax if applicable)

2. Capital Gains Tax

3. County Property Tax

4. Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA)

5. Medicare Tax

6. Sales Tax (State)

7. Sales Tax (City)

8. School Tax

9. Social Security Tax, (and then that tax is taxed as income when you start collecting it)

10. State Income Tax

11. Telephone 911 Service Tax (some states)

12. Telephone Federal Excise Tax

13. Vehicle Registration Tax

14. Various fuels taxes, gasoline, diesel, etc

15. Utility Tax, (other than telephone taxes)

16. Workers Compensation Tax

Now, of course this list does not include all the various state and local user fees, licenses, taxation of businesses and manufacturers, corporate taxes, death taxes and sin taxes, which of course get passed down to us, the consumers in the form of higher prices. And let’s not forget luxury taxes on certain “rich folk” stuff like boats and planes and whatever else the Marxist government decides is a “luxury item“.

And how much does it total up to? Who knows? It depends on how much you’re worth and how much you spend or use and where you live and most of all, how clever your tax accountant is, but estimates range anywhere from 40 - 60% of income for the average Joe Schmuck American.

The fact of the matter is, the average American citizen is getting royally screwed by a corrupt, Marxist tax system and doesn’t even realize it or care enough to stand up and fight for his rights to liberty and prosperity earned by his own labor. The politicians will not listen and the courts seem unable to untwist their minds from the legal contortions of precedent, designed to maintain the status quo, and which have the effect of enslaving an entire populous to a bloated, inefficient and fraudulent government, drunk on their own totalitarian power to tax and spend at will.
