World Don’t Tread On US

BREAKING NEWS: The World Health Organization (WHO) gets it wrong, again.

Well DUH. Who would have guessed that one? Another World organization, comprised of so-called experts, unaccountable to the people over whom they exercise considerable power to regulate, is once again exposed for the incompetent, negligent and corrupt alarmists they really are. The WHO is now being accused far and wide for exaggerating the Swine Flu scare, commonly referred to as H1N1, which, far from being a world wide deadly PANDEMIC as they claimed, turned out to be about as bad as the common cold. But, besides just being a bunch of self-serving panic mongering bureaucrats, they were being advised by “experts” with ties to the drug companies that just so happened to end up being the direct beneficiaries of the panic induced “THE SKY IS FALLING” media-gasm mania. It turns out they made a killing even if the Swine Flu pandemic didn’t. And, as usual, we the tax payers got stuck with the bill. Surprise!

First we had the Global Warming media-gasm mania scam, and all that it entailed from the fraudulent “hockey stick” climate data to the cover-up and finally to the exposure of the true agenda to extort billions from developed countries as penitence for using too much of the Earth’s precious resources. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC), of which the Kyoto Protocol is a part, is a major player and purveyor of the total farce that is man-made global warming. Surprise!

And now we have the latest in a long history of panic mongering, alarmist, false predictions by the United Nations WHO, from the largely overblown SARS bird flu panic to the Mad Cow scare that led to the slaughter of fully a third of all the cows in Britain - 3.7 million animals, but a mere 136 human deaths suspected of some kind of association with Mad Cow....but they can’t be certain. The moral of the story; don't eat cow brains or let the government know you have livestock. At the first sign of a problem they'll come out to your farm and kill every living creature you own and probably you too if you try to stop them.

Even the World Trade Organization (WTO) is more than a bit scary and for the same reasons as the WHO and UNFCC. The WTO grew out of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), established after World War II in the wake of other new multilateral institutions dedicated to international economic cooperation - notably the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and an international institution for trade, named the International Trade Organization (ITO). Behind this cabal was the much celebrated, (by the Left), economist John Maynard Keynes, for whom Keynesian economics is named and upon which the collapsing Euro-socialist fiasco is based. The US is a member of the IMF and is now being required as a member to help bail out the failed European Union. I think we got screwed on that deal. Surprise!

The ITO was to be a United Nations specialized agency and would address not only trade barriers but other issues indirectly related to trade, including employment, investment, restrictive business practices, and commodity agreements. But the ITO treaty was not approved by the United States and in the absence of an international organization for trade, the GATT would, over the years, "transform itself" into a de facto international organization. Can you say, "through the back door"? Surprise!

Frankly, any organization with “World” or "International" or "Global" in it's name is beginning to make me very uneasy. We enjoy certain inalienable rights in this Country, none of which are safe if our government is in bed with a bunch of crooked bureaucrats from other countries, making treaties and agreements behind closed doors. We can’t even trust our own elected officials behind closed doors. Who knows what impact those agreements and treaties might ultimately have on us and our rights, our economy, affecting our way of life and our prosperity?

Those in the know like to say, "If you aren't at the table you are on the menu." Well, we have been the entrée of the menu at the UN since it began and we own the damn building and pay most of the costs of running it. We have never gotten our money's worth, EVER! It is time to cut them loose, kick them out and extricate ourselves from all these "World" organizations before they get around to consuming US the entrée once and for all.
